Kansas City Whiskey is a pre-prohibition style of blended American whiskey based on the process of rectification. Our unique Kansas City Whiskey blends Rye and Bourbon whiskeys with an Oloroso sherry from Spain. The result is a beautiful sipping whiskey with a warm spicy front and a smooth, earthy, fruity finish.

Our Kansas City Whiskey is best served #WHISKEYNEAT, but with the complexity of flavor profiles it is also the perfect base for any traditional whiskey cocktail, including Old Fashioneds, Manhattans, and Boulevardiers.

Our premium offering. 100% distilled and aged by West Bottoms Whiskey Co. on our 211 gallon copper alembic pot still. The first peated whiskey in Kansas City. 50% malted barley/ 50% peated malt. Aged 1 year in 5 gallon barrels. Limited runs being released. and available in our Parlor. Each bottle has been hand wax dipped and crested with our seal.

This truly unique blend is a a very special combination of of our peated Distiller’s Cut and a 4 year old selected single malt whiskey. This complex whiskey will continue to surprise as you sip. This blended malt whiskey is the perfect intro to those exploring scotches with light smoke and intricate flavors.

Tasting Notes: A lot to explore – sweet nougat, pepper, honey, hint of peated smoke

This limited release features a near 4 year-old, rye whiskey that was finished for 8 months in storied casks. We sought out unique barrels and found 4 WhistlePig 10 year Rye barrels, that lived a second life aging maple syrup from Runamok in Vermont. The result is a rich sipper with notes of barreled maple, camp-spice and everything nice.  This whiskey stands at a healthy 92 proof and is perfect for sipping neat around a fire with friends and family.

Only 1,000 bottles were produced and are available at West Bottoms Whiskey Co. for pours and bottles in our Parlor during service hours while supplies last.

This limited batch #1  release features a 3 year-old, high-rye Bourbon that was finished for 6 months in Malbec wine casks from our friends at Amigoni Urban Winery. The result is a rich, smooth yet spicy whiskey that’s perfect for sipping at a stout 95 proof. This whiskey pours like a fine wine and drinks like a complex beautiful bourbon, sure to impress!
